The EMA is comprised of a committee of members which meets to discuss matters of common interest, and is the decision making body of the Association. Further sub-committees are formed to address areas of special concern, and these then report to the main Committee.

Chief Executive - Dr Thaer Sabri Thaer has over 10 years' experience in the electronic money industry, including working in a regulatory capacity, product management and business development. Thaer worked at Mondex International and beenz.com before founding a niche electronic money consultancy Flawless Money. Thaer attended Sheffield University, Imperial College - University of London - Birkbeck College - University of London and is a Solicitor in England and Wales. Thaer is the CEO of Flawless Money Ltd.
