The EMA Netherlands Branch is a specialised network of e-money issuers and innovative payment service providers, all holding regulatory authorisation in the Netherlands.
The EMA Netherlands Branch actively engages with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) on policy matters impacting both the EU and local e-money and payments sector.
The Branch focuses on key developments in payment services and e-money regulation, including the EU Financial Data and Payments Package. It prioritises enhancing AML/CTF measures and staying up-to-date with DNB publications and guidelines to ensure compliance and industry best practices. Members benefit from insights, for example, into new reporting requirements introduced by CESOP and initiatives to bolster digital operational resilience. Through these activities, the EMA ensures robust representation and support for its members amidst the evolving regulatory landscape.
