EMA Luxembourg branch

The Luxembourg Branch is a specialised network of e-money issuers and innovative payment service providers, all holding regulatory authorisation in Luxembourg.


The Luxembourg Branch meaningfully engages with key local regulatory bodies such as the CSSF, CRF, and the Ministry of Finance. Members have the opportunity to actively participate in policy development impacting the e-money and payments sector, ensuring their interests are represented in critical discussions.

The Branch meets quarterly and focuses on emerging European legislation, including PSD3/PSR, Instant Payments, the AML Package, MiCAR, FIDA, and CBDCs, providing members with insights and advocacy support to navigate these evolving regulatory landscapes effectively.
